Dakota Sunrise Cabin (King/Full/Twin)
Couldn't have asked for better hosts! Very kind and responsive, felt right at home. If we were out in the common area and they were around, they made sure to make an effort to see how things were going. If we needed anything they made sure we had it in a very timely fashion. All around very enjoyable week!
Trail’s End Cabin (King/Twin)
We loved our weekend getaway! The place was exactly as described. Everyone was super helpful also. We would definitely come back again. Thank you!!

Can’t say enough about our quick stay in Cabin #1 at Marilyn’s place! The cabin was clean, easy to get to and just exactly what we needed to be able to lay our heads down at night after a few full days in the Black Hills. Marylin is so helpful and has everything thought out for you to help plan an adventurous day. The “glamping” is some of the best we have stayed in with each unit having its own private shower, toilet and two person sink vanity at the bath house. All coordinated to match the number of your cabin. We would definitely come back again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a great stay here. It is about 30 min to Mt Rushmore, 20 to Keystone and Custer State park, an hour to Evan's Plunge Pool, and about 2 hours to badlands. If you are from a populated area (city), know that the roads here will be smaller and more twisting than you are used to and watch out for deer in early mornings and evenings. Driving down Ghost Canyon Road in the early morning toward highway 79 was lovely. The cabin itself was very comfortable for us - and it was great to have our own bathroom in the bathhouse. This is definitely glamping...Marilyn has paid so much attention to all the great things about camping while mitigating all the not so fun aspects (shared bathrooms, sleeping on the ground or with sleeping bags etc). Thank you Marilyn for a great stay!

Our family had such a great time - things were very much as described, and Marilyn was wonderful. We have already talked in our family about wanting to return.
Dakota Sunrise Cabin (King/Full/Twin)
My family enjoyed staying in this little clamping cabin! It was as described. Bathrooms with showers were a short little walk up the hill and were well stocked and easy to find. I really enjoyed the back porch area. My husband and I sat outside in the evening after the kids went to sleep. It was very peaceful.
Woodpecker Point Family Cabin (King/Sofabed/Twin x 4)
Marilyn called to check on us because we hadn’t arrived yet.
Woodpecker Point Family Cabin (King/Sofabed/Twin x 4)
The cabin was beautiful and even better than expected. There is a cooktop in the kitchenette. A very nice surprise. The shower house was clean and tidy. Super pleased with it. Nice gazebo for cooking outdoors and play area for children was super! Overall loved this spot! Definitely saved for future trips to the Black Hills.
Whitetail Hollow Cabin (King/Twin/Twin)
I absolutely love this place!!! Sooooo cute! Peaceful and beautiful area! Right next to keystone and only 20 minute from Mount Rushmore! Couldn’t have been happier!
Dakota Sunrise Cabin (King/Full/Twin)
Super responsive host. I love that they went to the effort to think of little things, like handouts to show local points of interest. Very convenient at Mount Rushmore, and the 9 PM illumination ceremony. It was a family, friendly location.
Dakota Sunrise Cabin (King/Full/Twin)
We loved everything about our stay. We stayed in cabin #1 with two teenage boys, my husband and I. It was perfect. The boys had their own space and a spacious king size bed also. Cooked breakfast in the mornings we were there and went site seeing the rest of the day. Perfect location to multiple spots with a beautified drive in between. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning and evenings watching deer and turkeys. Perfect beginning and ending to each day we were there!
Woodpecker Point Family Cabin (King/Sofabed/Twin x 4)

Beautiful log cabins, had such a great time. Our daughter really enjoyed playing with the kids. Thanks for having us we will definitely be back if in the Black Hills again.

This is the perfect place for staying if you are not there for the rally.. it is in the mecca of riding but off the beaten path. Very clean, awesome amenities!! Problem at entrance after much rain and he fixed it right away when mentioned to him. Fun to meet other campers in the center of cabins!! Met some great youngins from Michigan!! FARKLE!!

Woodpecker Point Family Cabin (King/Sofabed/Twin x 4)
We loved staying at one of the cabins at Buffalo Rock Lodge! The setting was gorgeous, nestled in amongst the trees and rock outcroppings, and we enjoyed the visiting deer and wild turkeys. Our cabin was well-appointed, clean and comfortable, and the central grill/picnic area was great for cooking dinner and chatting with the neighbors. Marilyn is really hospitable, from the detailed instructions to the complimentary snacks she left us. We can’t wait to come back!
Tatanka Ridge Cabin (King/Twin/Twin)
We could not have picked a better location. It was in a quiet, peaceful locale and also close to the places we wanted to go, Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. We appreciated the private bathroom just for us in the shower house and the cabin was a perfect size for our family of three. The hosts provided a great dinner recommendation that we loved and they were responsive to our needs. If we are in the area again, I would love to stay here again. Thank you Buffalo Rock team!
Trail’s End Cabin (King/Twin)
Cozy and clean cabin in beautiful surroundings. Marilyn was very sweet and helpful. Will highly recommend!
